I have been airbrushing for many years, but I never really went beyond a single action Paasche Model H, for my needs, which were very basic plastic model painting (car bodies, etc.). A few years back I took some lessons from a very talented painter, and he taught me how to do some fun things like painting simulated diamond plate, and it was then that I was introduced to double-action air brushing. I most recently embarked on a journey to equip myself with what I felt was the best equipment for my needs. Watching and learning from some of the greats like Terry Hill (T-Shirt Artist), Rob Dickons of Dred FX, Giovanni of Shaghetti Miniatures, and Mark of the Art Workshop, I have gathered a great deal of practical knowledge in order to spend my money wisely. After purchasing some brushes based upon previous loyalties to Paasche who made my first brush that was given to me as a birthday present when I was a mere child, I relaized that Paasche has not kept pace with innovation and current production quality standards, so although their Vision brush that I recently purchased is "Okay", that just wasn't good enough for me. Again, based upon doing my homework, I zeroed in on the Airgoo Phanton and Gear. I purchased a Gear, and it is absolutely brilliant! I then saw the AG-216 and for the amazingley low price of $30 I decided to get one. Again, I was blown away! The quality is better than ANYTHING else you will find costing many times more. I'm so impressed with it, I bought a second one just to have it available in case I drop mine or something crazy happens ............ before the price goes up like everything else in this world. I will also be ordering a Phantom, as it too is amazing. The Gear and Phantom are pieces targetted at the very best in the world, again for many times less than what you'd pay for something comperable. (H&S Quality for a fraction of the cost!) I'm not a content creator .......yet, but just have a look at Rob Dickons reviews on the Phantom and Gear, and what more proof do you need? Airgoo has turned the Airbrush world on its ear: Affordable airbrushes that are truely great works of art with the finest quality available, and all at affordable prices! Look no further! Airgoo ROCKS!
BTW, Check out my MOAABS (Mother Of All Air Brush Stands) below. It's a stand I designed capable of holding both gravity feed brushes (three front slots, and 2 siphon fed brushes in the rear hangers, while also accommodating a regulator/dryer and both suply and feed air hoses. Here it is fully adorned with the Airgoo Logo, an Airgoo Gear, a 216 and a Mecha B Trigger gun!
